French Grip

This straight handle french grip is made of rubber and plastic, which makes it very comfortable to hold when fencing. It is highly recommended for beginners who are learning classic fencing styles at the early stages until the coach advises to switch to the pistol grip in either foil or epee. However, note that epee fencers may use French grip throughout their fencing career without switching to the pistol grip.
